^ Really? Brad Pitt has been in some great movies. I'm not sure what would cause you to make that leap based merely on his involvement. That being said, it does look bad compared to the book. But it's been expected to be bad for a while now. They pushed back the release date. And they have been doing re-shoots of entire scenes after the final edit --- which is very rare and is a good indicator that the movie will probably suck.

It's too bad. It really should be a mini-series anyhow. With someone actually going around interviewing people, let them start telling their story ... and then fade into the it being played out on-screen. The completely changed the format where he is in all of the action himself.


Anyhow... back to The Walking Dead.

Let me explain because I agree but... Brad Pitt is the type that should be case in certain roles. I enjoyed Moneyball, Fight Club is a classic, 12 Monkeys, etc. Zombie movies though require a different type of actor. My conclusion is that Brad Pitt was cast as a big name draw. When they've got that name attached to the movie they don't have to worry so much about story (see Prometheus)

As far as walking vs. running zombies isn't a big deal except that movies tend to go with one or the other (except where you movies with the slow ones that need them to be quick just for a scene or two). There should be a gradient where they're quick when they first turn but slow over time. OR curable zombies-like infected (28 days/weeks later) that are quick vs. actual true zombies that are slow.

After all that, never mind I prefer the slow ones.

On the talking dead after the show, they said if you look closely that you can see bits of her hair and skin in his hands and mouth.

I couldn't tell if Rick was trying to get her remains out for burial, or if he was pissed about being left with the baby and that situation and he was stabbing her.

I also wonder how a zombie could eat her bones with his weak flesh and teeth... much less her whole skull and body and only have a stomach as big as it was...
