Just got off the phone with a buddy of mine at a local T.V. station. He said information that will ROCK the UNC program will be coming out by Wednesday or earlier. He went to UNC so he has no reason to lie or hope this is the case. In fact he is very upset. Hope to god he is just wrong but I do not think so. Doubt me if you want or not this is coming. I am sad like not many times in my life over this like most of you. Hope for the best.

Works in a dept that would know this. Put it that way. I have NEVER got this type of info because it was never an issue of course. He and I went to school together so we have UNC in common. Again, do not want to out him here but he said and my guess is the "story" is being confirmed by them and probably others. And yes I do know what it is. And if this is true and again I hope he is wrong and I am wrong because if not it is bad.

^^^ Well, the epicenter of it all is going to be the football team.

If they vacate national championships (which I doubt....somewhat), then thier entire "major sports" athletic teams will be put on multiple years of probation, restrictions, scholly limits, postseason ban, etc.

No matter what happens, it's about 90% certain that the football team is the most guilty party.

It's pretty much a foregone conclusion UNC will fire Davis shortly.

I'm going to say they're also going to come down with NCAA restriction on scholarships and postseason ban minimum in the best case scenario for UNC.

USC "didn't know" about Reggie Bush, and they got scholly reductions and postseason bans.

UNC's player lied to the NCAA, got subpeona'd by the State of NC, then the guy that recruits him steps down...lawyers up.... and his lawyer responds with "That's a complicated question" when asked if he was paid by agents to funnel players to them while at UNC....? It is obvious money has exchanged hands between players-agents, blake-agents, and possibly even blake/butch & players.

If nothing else drops going forward, Butch is gone, and UNC is on probation...in my opinion, at least. Now it's just a question of how bad are the NCAA restrictions, and how wide-reaching was the cheating/agent/tutor problems

I doubt it could be true not becuase Butch/UNC is beyond doing it, i just don't see how you'd implement this in football.
