my office closes early (at either 12p or 2p) for Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve. that's in addition to the actual holiday that we get off. we close early the day before the holiday.

however, we only have 6 paid holidays per year. we don't get President's Day or Big Nig Day (aka MLK Jr Day) so i guess the partial days sorta make up for that.

we sometimes close early on holidays we dont already have off. or if there is one on the following monday. but you leave early when your boss does too dont you

^^you can't really say i'm leaving "early" because i'm on salary, so i get paid whether i work 35hrs or 50hrs. that being said, i typically leave at 5pm. but when my boss leaves early, i will leave around 4:30pm. i probably do that twice a month at the most.

i talk about leaving early all the time on here. that doesn't mean i actually do it just like sexpencil saying i always fake sick and go home. that happens once every 3 months or so...i just talk about it all the damned time.
