I have a weird problem where the 360 doesn't read the memory card when I insert it in the slot

Just the hard drive shows up as a storage device

I've tried 3 mem cards too so its gotta be the system

normally I wouldnt care but with NCAA rosters coming up I need that card

Looks like that Best Buy 2 year plan is bout to go into use

I don't see why anyone would buy Marvel vs Capcom 2 on ebay. They are all going for 60-80 bux plus shipping. Ebay/Gamestop has them for 60 bucks + shipping and always has coupons for 15-25% off used games AND they are in stock. Dumb ppl...but I may just break down and get one for 40-50 bux.

^^ just downloaded and played the demo tonight

not a bad game....hell of a lot better than Over G Fighters and i didnt mind the controls

its just too easy though....i mean the mission i did my plane had like 50 missles so all i had to do was point and click

graphics were good though

Controls have always been that way in Ace Combat games. It's a huge incentive to get the flight stick. You can be absolutely Macross-like godly with it.

not at all... there are several forums about it online, EA has gotten a lot of shit about it and they made a release at E3 saying they didnt realize it was that popular of an option and that its one of their top items for the 09 games.

yeah that Ace Comat demo is pretty smooth...i like hauling ass and trying to fly under bridges...not much room for error obviously

also that Hitman 2 demo is fun as hell...just like hitman on ps2 (except newer/better)..."OVERTAKE THE VEHICLE...SHOOT THE GAP...DRIFT TURN RIGHT"

somebody give me some Saints Row tips...I'm on both the last Carnales mission (blow up the airplane after shooting the RPG guys) and the last Vice Kings mission (hold dude out the window then go kill that bitch)...any pointers? on the Carnales mission i'm trying to use the rocket launcher on the first couple cars and then the AK on the RPG guys (or barrels next to them) but i never seem to get them fast enough even though my car starts off in great shape...in the Vice Kings mission I get the code from guy holding him out the window but my car gets blown up by the cops before i can get to the Confessional place...any tips? i figure the saints row thread is probably > 90 days [old]

regarding saint's row...i beat the game a LONG time ago, but i think i remember how i did both of those.

in the last Carnales mission, you have to stay alive to get two or three trips around the airport and hit the plane with one or two rpg's each time. it took me a few tries.

in the last Vice Kings mission you have to be in a really tough car to make it a good distance and then when it's somewhat tame, hop out, kill some FBI agents and take the FBI suv...rinse and repeat until you make it.

Figured since I don't have to pay for repairs, I would get some older games that would be here by the time my xbox got back.

Ordered Call of Duty 2, DOA 4, PGR 3, and Saint's Row.

the carnales mission took me a few tries as well. key is to hit the plane twice on the first trip or you'll likely not make it around again. just memorize where the guys on the roof/boxes are and kill them so they dont blow up your car. after that hit the plane once when you first pass the big warehouse/hanger and then again when it starts to move after you loop around the stacked boxes. can be a pain, but you'll get it eventually.

ahaha I crashed my 360 with the ace combat demo

went as far as I could straight up (didn't stall out which I thought was lame, loved doing that and regaining control on the old ones) and then straight down firing missiles into the city. As I was just about to smack the ground shit froze and my controller kept vibrating. Thought it was great.

im really pretty impressed with Lost Planet. good solid boss fight after pretty much every mission. ramp up in difficulty works pretty well. weapons feel balanced appropriately. thermal energy ticking down gives you a little bit of a sense of urgency.

a tad on the short side and id imagine multiplayer with VSs is a tad lame, but good none the less.

^you just gotta make a few prelim runs to figure out where all the stunts are then you can string them together nicely...in the full game you shoot multiple scenes for each movie you're working on, and once you complete a "chapter" you get to see the movie's traile which combines a bunch of your stunts...good stuff

"E3 2007: Two on the Way for XBLA Next Week
Konami and Hudson each prepped to deliver.
by Erik Brudvig
July 13, 2007 - In the midst of the E3 2007 flurry of announcements and game showcases, Microsoft slipped out one more announcement. Due out this coming Wednesday, July 18, is a double shot for the Xbox Live Arcade as gamers will get the opportunity to download both Bomberman Live and Yie Ar Kung Fu.

Bomberman Live, a new entry into the franchise created specifically for the XBLA by Hudson, will cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10 USD). It will support four person local multiplayer and up to eight online. The game features eight arenas where players will scramble to avoid bombs, snatch power-ups and bomb the competition.

While Bomberman Live is an all new title, Konami's Yie Ar Kung Fu is classic fighting game revived. Both the original arcade version and an enhanced graphics mode will be included, as well as leaderboards for comparing scores. Yie Ar Kung Fu will cost interested gamers 400 Microsoft Points ($5 USD) and is rated E10+ for cartoon violence."

i was hoping yall were talking about NES Kung Fu...that little hillbilly dance move you can do if you hold down and kick right then left then right, etc is pretty funny

^^haha thanks anyway...i actually beat the Vice Kings mission by driving a better route to the Confessional place and I took out enough of the RPGers in the Carnales mission to blast the plane with the rocket launcher a few times...so now i have 3 safehouses

currently working on some of the side games...i've beaten all the hitman missions on one location except for the FBI helicopter guy...also i think i'm done with insurance fraud unless there are more than 3 locations

for some reason when Saints Row came out I liked it but I was kinda like "eh..." and so I put it to the side for awhile...but now that GTA4 is only a few months away, Saints is a pretty sweet way to get back into "freeform environment" game mode or whatever they call that genre

"Rockstar Bullies 360, Wii
Scholarship Edition to let next-gen gamers enroll in Bullworth Academy starting this winter.
By Brendan Sinclair, GameSpot
Posted Jul 19, 2007 3:11 pm PT

Last year, Take-Two Interactive went to court to ensure that its boarding school action-adventure game Bully could be sold in US stores. While the game was a PlayStation 2 exclusive at the time, it appears the multiplatform editions of it were merely held back a year.

Take-Two today announced that Bully will be making its way to the Xbox 360 and the Wii, as Bully: Scholarship Edition is set for release this winter. Developed by Rockstar Games, the Scholarship Edition will introduce new content to the original release of Bully, though Take-Two did not say how much new content or what it would consist of.

Earlier this week, Take-Two also confirmed that it would be bringing the formerly exclusive Xbox 360 game Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis to the Wii. Take-Two was similarly tight-lipped about the changes that will be made to that game, mentioning only that it would take advantage of the motion-sensing Wii Remote.

Bully: Scholarship Edition marks the third Rockstar-developed game to be announced for the Wii, with the first--Manhunt 2--currently in limbo after being rated AO for Adults Only. "

I got to have it, and it better be budget priced!
