It happens a lot though. How do you think the reporter gets the info? They build a relationship with the key figures. So, if those key figures say "Ok we'll give you the scoop, but you have to wait 2 days to print" then you're gonna wait 2 days or next time you're gonna be blackballed/ not invited to the good ole boys bbq/etc

According to the Tarheel poster, it was coming Wednesday and that his buddy, a journalist, said it was going to be bad.


I've not heard Wednesday, or any particular day, from our side (Which has been 100X more correct than anything on IC premium). All our side said was that it's going to be epic and to stay tuned

Point being, I'm not expecting anything particularly on Wednesday... I'm just expecting alot more to fall SOMETIME. People on IC have been wrong every step of the way. Steve posted on PP that Blake was gone and 16 were going to be suspended while the IC mods were still saying he was an idiot and that only Austin & Little would be held out for LSU

There have been a few PP posters taht have been right every step of the way, and I haven't heard a particular day from them

Won't be the death penalty unless they were already under probation and they continued with their elicit activities. The hammer was dropped on SMU b/c they continued to pay players after they were diciplined.

I think the penalties will be similar to what happened to FSU. But the loss of credibility and the shame brought on the school will be the biggest penalty. That will bring years of entertainment to State fans.

However, the BOT...a bunch of hoity-toity academic buffs who could care less about sports, would be less inclined to care about thier football program if it means hurting UNC's academic reputation any further.

That's the thing here. It's not just about NCAA findings at this point

Well I don't know if you have to be a repeat offender to get the death penalty. The NCAA is certainly gun-shy about it but I imagine if the offenses were serious enough, like say, an assistant coach funneling cash from an agent to recruits... tack widespread academic fraud on top of it, and who knows?

I dunno. At this point there's so many different egregious violations going on there that I doubt they'd get off with a vacated season and players missing 4 games...

basically we would need to know her job title then compare the 08-09 records to the most current. anyone who was there in 08-09 but is not on the current list is potentially the tutor. you could run google searches on the people remaining and eliminate some based on year of graduation, alma mater, and sex.

from there you could check to see who has recently locked down their facebook/linkedin/myspace page.

if they haven't locked down their facebook/linkedin/myspace pages you could use facebook to determine who are the most connected people in relation to the football team.
