Eliminating racism doesn't require everyone to think alike, jeez.

It just requires 2 things:
1) not being racist
2) racial sensitivity

I LOL at people defending profiling muslims as terrorists, but then turning a blind eye to the MASSIVE rise in hate crimes against ALL brown people (not just muslims) following 9/11, that still hasn't returned to pre 9/11 levels.



The quality that drives someone to terrorism isn't being a muslim, as there are billions of muslims that aren't terrorists. It's being an extremist.

There might be a correlation between islam and terrorist attacks but there isn't causation there. When you mistake the 2 in front of the general public, like some people in this thread are doing, you unfairly demonize a group of the population leading to a growth in racism against that group and people who an ignorant person might associate with that group (such as Indians/pakistanis/sikhs/etc).

This concept is intuitive to some, but clearly lost on others. The people who don't grasp this concept intuitively lack "racial sensitivity" and should either try to educate themselves to be less ignorant, or just keep their racially-insensitive mouths shut.
