Ugh I am so stressed right now. A month ago my dad decided he wanted to do dance lessons with me. Great except he waited until LAST WEDNESDAY to schedule the first one. Today was supposed to be the second one and he fucking forgot. Wasted my time driving out to Capital for nothing. And I told him I couldn't do anything after Saturday but he managed to talk me into Monday night anyway. But now today's lesson had to be bumped to Tuesday. Add to that other people not finishing shit on time like they promised to and I went from having four semi-busy days before people fly into town Wednesday to OH FUCK SUPER BUSY FFFFFUUUUUU.

Sorry had to vent but I seriously can't remember the last time I was this stressed. I've been crying while doing laundry the past hour, which makes me sound crazy I'm sure

im super stoked because we let them loose on the interenet and told them to get back with us on the 5 or 6 dresses they liked the best-as long as they were white and short-ish.
then cody and i got together (which took all of 30 minutes) and narrowed it down to one each-that were completely different yet would look cool together

Not to bring the negative but I am concerned about a bridesmaid issue.

I have 5 BM's and I let them choose their own black dresses...so I thought having matching shoes would be nice to bring some cohesion. I originally wanted to do peep toe pumps but each girl kept sending me "Well, what about this?" pictures...and none even remotely went together. Fiance's sister sent short heels with multi-colored patterns, MOH sent sky-high shoes from Bakers that were too risque for our casual wedding, and the other three were like, "Take me shopping and show me what to buy."

So I found a shoe I liked that comes in candy colors:


I'd wear blue and they already picked pink, red, black, purple, and green for the pumps colors. The only sacrifice would be switching green out for champagne since there is not a green color in this style.

Three of them liked the shoes and agreed they were reasonable.

One mentioned it not being her style but that she would buy it because she loved me and didn't care.

The real issue is the MOH is like, "I can't wear slingbacks. I fall out of them. I know you'd rather have me not falling out of the shoes walking down the aisle."

She has called another BM's in the group to complain about the shoes. She wants them to be taller (they are 3 and 3/4 inch heels for goodness sake) and saying she can't wear anything but pumps. The other girls are like, "I'd strap live rabid moles to my feet and walk down the aisle if that's what she wanted me to do."

I hate this. I am a people pleaser but I kinda feel like I should just tell her to buy the shoes and get over it.
