Eh, I think they're in pretty deep. Early on I figured nothing would come of Agentgate, but then the press (and by extension, the NCAA) caught on to the Wichard-Blake connection, and I was like "hmm, maybe..." Then Tutorgate happened, and I was like "OK, now we're getting somewhere..." Then Blake resigned, and all bets are off now. I don't think they're getting off easy. I'm still in disbelief that I've lived to see this day, but here it is.

Funny how the holes on the turd pit at IC are slowly coming to the realization that their beloved university and athletic program may have done something wrong. At the start of all this they all said the NCAA was there to check in and wouldn't find anything. Then they were willing to sacrifice Marvin Austin. And then academic issue came out...and now Blake resigns. IC is going to erupt if anything else bad comes out.

hello, there is an academic violations investigation going on where a tutor is writing papers for players.

I would be willing to bet that UNC's grad rate would be down near ours if they let their kids do their own work.

Duke is number 1 in graduation rate because they hold standards for their recruits. I can see that for WF (who is 3rd) as well but I don't know about the second place BC.

^ BC is a private school, so they probably hold academics in a similar regard to Duke and WF.

The most mind-boggling thing with UNC's graduation rates is that the athlete graduation rate is higher than that of the general student population. I would feel pretty concerned about that, since I just doubt that could happen without "significant" help.

lets face it... 90% of all these non private school football players did all they could just to get through high school (and I am sure they had help with that especially when they figured out they would be playing football in college).
