Guys, why would he be pissed? He has one of the best recuiting classes in the country, as well as almost every player coming back for next year. He'd be a fool to leave under current situations. He got handed a lot of rough talent from Lowe, and is adding hugely to it.

I'm very grateful to have Gottfried for a coach. For once, I feel like NCSU's basketball team is in fully capable hands. The fact that we were able to go to the NCAA tournament, have a winning season, and finish in the top half of the ACC all in his first year with mostly the same players from our terrible last season speaks volumes in my opinion. It's only going to get better from here with experience and our new recruits.

The landscape of the ACC is changing. We're coming back.

true, but the team wasn't playing nearly as well that season as a whole (tied for 10th in the acc). we just had a good run in the acc tournament and rode costner's back to the finals. (and lowe didn't have 3 all-americans coming in the next year)
