I personally hate the cell phones idea.


If you're going to get everyone coordinated, why not use the time to get something synchronized for when they shoot free throws. Making noise doesnt help anything, you gotta do something to startle them, like be really quiet then everyone yell just before they shoot.

we've tried that before (the yelling before they shoot thing), hell every school does something like that and the players are used to blocking out fans yelling, NOBODY does the cell phone thing which is precisely why it will startle them and cause them to miss free throws. It's very clever and if it works it will start a contraversy about whether or not students should be allowed to bring cell phones to games anymore.
