i think they're somewhat conserving a little energy. they play hard and aggressive for the entire game. i think they go about 80-90% int he first period and 100% in the second and third. conversely, the opponents seem to go 100% from the getgo, and they end up tired in the 3rd period. if you've noticed, we've been very successful at scoring in the 3rd.

i think psyche plays a role too. let the other guys get over confident early in the game, and hit them with some suprises later on.

or it could be as simple as the canes don't get their head right until we're behind. we're the best team at coming from behind to win.
