Xiu Xiu played the best live performance of the year last night (despite not playing the greatest song of all time). Every song from "Sad Pony Guerilla Girl" to "Crank Heart" was such a beautiful mess. I don't know if my mind could take in every hiss, rattle, and screech that was played. And they played their cover of "Ceremony." BRILLIANT!

on a related note to TV on the Radio, rolling stone gave the support band's (The Noisettes) album 3.5 out of 4...

I got it a month or two ago and didn't really like most of it, except "Don't Give Up," but maybe i'll give it another go.
