Atsur finding his 3 point shot helps a TON. It opened up McCauley in the middle....and he hit some huge shots early.

I think it is, I only noticed it this game, maybe he's been hanging around Grant too long.

But there is definitely a connection between the opposing team's ability to shoot the three and whether we win or not. VT barely put up any threes all game; against a team that shoots well from the outside I think we still would get owned. But that was great improvement all around tonight, limiting bad turnovers, FT shooting back up to its decent level, making the clutch shots to kill all of their little momentum swings and runs and the like.

Only thing that would make this better was if it 'wintery mix'ed a lot tomorrow and classes got cancelled.

^I noticed that too. I felt like this was the opposite of the game at UVA where they got all of the long rebounds.


Although we had pretty damn good position and guys were going after the boards harder from what I saw. Hell, on McCauley's putback late on Atsur's 3 pointer, it looked like they drew it up that way.
