i really am having a hard time understanding the intentional walk to reyes
avoid the squeeze?
i mean it worked, but that could have backfired big time since you knew he would steal 2nd

Nobody ever pitches to Reyes late in games with runners on base. It's annoying but I don't blame them with scrubs like Newhan ridiculously batting 2nd.

Out till labor day. Always something with our cubbies. Well at least the brew crew isn't fairing any better these days, and the birds are beyond repair. Lets hope to keep par till september.

down 1 and hitting 3 to the wall in the bottom of the ninth, 2 with a runner on base, was a heartbreaker
but they should've destroyed the reds through the whole game 8/15/2007 9:08:39 PM |

i was looking forward to watching this game all day, so can we play already?
meanwhile, the cardinals up on the brewers 4-1
regardless of what happens the next couple days - this weekend series vs the cardinals is going to be enormous for the whole division
