Okay, I ama sabres fan, but I have to say- The Hurricanes winning was not a fluke- they were more persistant and they knocked us out, and they played very well to win that cup... There are not many teams that made me nervopus when we would play, but the Canes did. That is the whole reason Sabres fans and Canes fans have become such rivals. They are not a shitty team- they had a rough year but they are still fast, they still have a ton of potential and I would hate to see us Sabres fans talk so much shit and then eat it next year.

Now, as to comment to the Hurricanes fans, this year, statistically the Sabres are looking very sharp- and this year we were better than the Canes. Period.

I dont understand the ongoing battle here because the only thing you can look at are the stats each season. Canes won the cup last year- fact, Sabres didnt.... Sabres beat out the Canes this year. Done.

Um, because we were total dicks to them last eyar and they beat us. I'm sorry- the year after any team gets the cup they have the right to bragging rights throughout the entire next season until someone else holds the cup. It is the way it has ALWAYS been.

i don't think the sabres suck, i just hate them, but i'm willing to say that they suck when you say "you guys can stfu because ward wasn't as good as you thought" when we allowed 10 fewer goals and the goalscoring decrease was obviously the big problem.
