You'll get no argument from me
I'll be pulling for them
The one thing I worry about is a team like San Antonio or Detroit slowing the game down so much that the Warriors can't get into a rhythm offensively.
Also with only 8 guys playing, they can't afford any injuries or foul trouble vs the deeper teams like Phoenix or the Spurs. 5/4/2007 10:33:31 AM |

Also Nelson had it out for Dallas...he really wanted to show up his former team
I don't think they'll have the same determination versus anyone else...also nobody is going to sleep on them like Dallas did...even if Dallas is a better team than HOU/UTAH, it doesnt mean the HOU/UTAH series is going to be easier 5/4/2007 10:36:20 AM |

Yao plays too soft. He doesn't consistently take the ball up strong, so you can never count on him. 5/6/2007 2:25:59 AM |

I was sitting there, thinking to myself...."Why in the fuck does he keep falling? There is no foul, and he isnt landing on anyone." It was an automatic 5 on 4 everytime down the court.

Jerry Sloan shows once again how he is the most underrated coach in the NBA.
This guy takes teams every year with nobodies it seems and turns them into a winner.
No one wanted Matt Harpring or Mehmet Okur, and people thought Deron Williams over Felton was a bad pick. 5/6/2007 10:01:36 AM |
rallydurham Suspended 11317 Posts user info edit post |
I agree Sloan is a great coach, but no one wanted Okur? He was a prized free agent that got a $50 million deal.
Deron Williams has turned out to be better than Chris Paul. 5/6/2007 11:48:05 AM |

I love how they just keep wiping it dry until it gets bloody 30 seconds later. Ha its already bleeding again.
Isn't he supposed to change jerseys too (he has blood on his jersey, and keeps using it to wipe off). 5/6/2007 6:13:37 PM |

That will need stitches, but butterflying it in about 3 places could at least let him finish the game. I'm surprised they just keep applying bandaids. 5/6/2007 6:15:24 PM |

I'm surprised basketball teams don't employ boxing cutmen. That's nothing compared to the bleeding I've seen in some boxing matches, and those guys can stop that in like 90 seconds. Maybe it's not "medically-sound" but ... 5/6/2007 6:18:54 PM |

To be fair, that location on your nose is one of the hardest places to stop bleeding.

was i the only one laughing hysterically for like 2-3 minutes straight at how incompetent phoenix's medical staff was? is that the best way to stop the bleeding from a couple deep gashes? to just a layer upon layer upon layer some little tiny bandages? he shouldve gotten a delay of game for running out on the court too...course i dont know why as soon as the blood started gushing they didnt run him back to the lockerroom 5/7/2007 5:12:56 PM |

Hope the Bulls can actually make this a good series.
I was thinking Detroit-Chicago would've made a better eastern final than semifinal, but not unless the Bulls can step it up. 5/7/2007 5:15:27 PM |

playoff experience takes time to get...i'm officially changing my NBA Finals predictions to Pistons vs Spurs...partially because the Mavs are already out of it but also because those two teams are the best TEAMS and they know how to turn it up a notch in the post season 5/7/2007 5:18:38 PM |

Nash was faking it. What a panzy. He needs to man up, throw some salt on his wound and get back in the game.

its just funny...we had been talking all day about the de la hoya mayweather fight and it was pretty obvious that the phoenix trainers did not usually have to deal with big gash cuts like nash had...i literally was laughing as hard as i had in months at how futile they were "trying" to get the cuts to stop bleeding...classic humor 5/7/2007 5:24:38 PM |

Yeah, I think that's definitely the most likely scenario.
It just seems to me like the best conference matchups are occuring in the semifinals this year (SA/Phx and Det/Chi), thanks to Dallas bowing out early and the seeding in the East.5/7/2007 5:28:41 PM |

The Suns might actually have a chance against the Spurs if Nash would take off his diapers and actually play some defense on Parker. 5/7/2007 10:28:57 PM |

COaching/Amare is the problem there dude.....amare needs to show on the pick. Dantoni has them going under the screen and letting parker shoot. That has little to do with Nash's effort. 5/7/2007 10:38:42 PM |
