I'd say that at 20 Ronaldo was an extremely 1 dimensional player that couldn't do much other than make defenders look silly on occasion. A little set piece talent, but it would have been hard to see him turning into the player he's become.

Even with that Fabregas has a LONG way to go to be considered at the same level Ronaldo is playing. Ronaldo is having a better season than anyone in the world, hands down.

Messi is class. But 27 goals in 30 appearances from a wide midfield position is unprecedented.

True. But that's the area he lurks around. He starts as an outlet on the wing and he's so fast and good with the ball at his feet he's able to beat teams down the field by himself. Combine that with Rooney and Tevez's good off the ball runs and that's going to create a lot of good chances.

Did Altidore go to Europe yet? Cuz that would be the shit if he went to Man U. I give that a >5% chance of happening though.

"YES, NOW I CAN SAY IT: AT MILAN FOR LIFE!

MILANELLO - His was a life choice. An important signature which represents the will of the man and the champion Kaká to remain a rossonero, to become with every day more and more a symbol and flag of this club. The Brazilian revealed his emotions in a long interview to Milan Channel.

'I remember that a year ago Milan Channel also asked me if I wanted to stay at Milan for life. In that circumstance I did not yet have the right confidence but today I do. Now I can say it and I want to. I want to stay a Rossonero for the rest of my career, I want to stay here for life. I remember the last two summers well, full of pressures, 'Ricky goes, Ricky stays'. My renewals have always come at difficult times, like it happened in the summer of 2006 during 'calciopoli'. That's why I did not give the answer I am able to give now before. I apologize for that, but I simply did not feel like I was ready to make such a commitment. But everything is different now, and I can say it without dboubt and a lot of joy.'"

Well, if an Arsenal player gets his leg snapped in half and the referee calls a horrible penalty in stoppage time, maybe you'll get one.

They don't have to beat them. A 1-1 draw will suffice. Or 2-2, 3-3, etc etc

Oh god Diaby is playing. And only one man up front to start. Not a great feeling about this. Van Persie is on the bench at least.

The ref is doing a nice job of calling a home game right now but Milan certainly look the more dangerous of the two teams. The longer Arsenal holds on without giving up a goal the more dangerous they become though.
