I'll be coming back as a NROTC Instruction here this coming fall.

I enlisted right out of boot camp in '96. Earned a NROTC scholarship in '98. Spent 4.5 years at NC State in the BN. Commissioned in '03. Went to officer power school, prototype, and then SOBC. Spent two years on USS FLORIDA (SSGN 728). Qualified Engineer. Left in March of '07 to come to PCU NORTH CAROLINA (SSN 777). We commission her in May of this year, and I will be transferring to NC State in June/July.

I am glad I enlisted first. In high school, I had no good study habits. My time in enlisted power school and prototype helped me develop my study habits so I could succeed at NC State.

Now I just have to figure out what I want to get my Master's Degree in when I get back.

yeah i ask, b/c RAM seems to be the latest fad in the new LC ships, i suppose it being useful in both air and anti-missile mode (at a greater range too) makes it more appealing (the system weight is lighter too apparently)
