They're definitely focused but this is just round robin play.

3:1 odds is still not a terrible bet by any stretch.

I love USA basketball I don't think I've missed but a handful of games the last eight years so I'm happy we look so good.

^^^ I'm no expert on fixing sporting events, but it would seem that fixing a gymnastics or boxing match would be much easier than a basketball game where one team is heavily favored. In the first two you only have to enter one score, but in basketball they would likely have to foul out several players on a bunch of terrible calls for the Chinese to have a chance.
