Yes he did! He was very hated by Americans and the Middle East!!! It doesn't matter the person anyway; It's called the Freedom of Speech Tunnel not kinda Free Speech only towards people we don't care about. There's been hate speech towards all races in that tunnel just all of a sudden it's a crime. They either need to just take the tunnel away or let it slide like every other time.

When did it become a crime to hurt someone's feelings anyway!

The NAACP are totally going to hurt their image if they carry this out with EVERYONE!

One other point:

The Secret Service "interviewed" the four students. Not campus police, Raleigh RPD, Wake County Sherriffs, or even the SBI. The Secret Service.

I've seen the Secret Service in action once, and that was enough of a reminder to me that you don't want to mess with them. Ever.

I guarantee those four students left those "interviews" with their nerves about the consistency of a bowl of Jell-O and shaking twice as much. Wouldn't be surprised if they haven't had a good night's sleep since their encounter with the Secret Service.

So NAACP, go somewhere else and yap your demands. The Secret Service has dealt with these students, and you can be sure none of the four will ever offer up an opinion on anything ever again.

I think seeing something like "Kill that nigger" spraypainted huge in a well-trafficked tunnel could spark more pain for some than even being punched in the face. I also think some of you are using the first amendment to try to legitimize this type of harassment, and that's wrong.

I've never been through this tunnel, but I am sure of two things:

If I went through it today, I'm sure I would find something offensive.
If I go through it tomorrow, today's offensive remark would be painted over by something else, and I could probably find a new offensive remark.
The same pattern would happen the next day, and the day after that, and so on.

In short, if some Obamaite hadn't got her panties in a wad over the messages they would have been covred over the next day.
