If you meet with him just make sure he knows what he is doing and see if his personality can mesh with yours because you have to deal with him on your wedding day ALL DAY! 7/25/2009 10:39:00 PM |

I love Cohen's studio work, his lighting is spot on (ibtronny), I want to ask him for some tips. I don't know about outside the studio though
Martha Manning has nice work.
And Brad Habeeb's website isn't working. 7/25/2009 11:38:40 PM |

Run of the mill wedding photog. It seems they like to blow out the outside pics a lot. If you are ok with that style then whatever works for you. I didn't see anything stand out that would make me not use them but they're just meh. (I only looked at the family and engagement posts on that blog)
I did like the picture of the father and song but I'm a sucker for the candid. 7/30/2009 11:14:13 AM |

i didn't check the thread, so maybe this guy has already been posted...he did a friend's wedding, and i really like a lot of his work (he uses that tilt view a bit too much, and i've always hated that softening that creates "glow")...but i think his compositions are excellent

Since when did the Kiwitilt become popular? 8/29/2009 9:10:55 AM |

Since people don't have any standards? Since digital SLR's hit the market and allowed any asshat willing to purchase a D40 or Digital Rebel to pretend to be a professional photographer?
I could keep going. I won't. That shit pisses me off when used gratuitously, which it very often is. 8/29/2009 10:51:45 AM |

hahaha, so I'm sure you guys remember this disaster of a photographer:
I ran into my friend who used the guy for her wedding and her mother. We were talking about my hunt for a photographer and my friend is going, "Oh yes! We spent a lot on my photographer! Like thousands! I was really impressed that he still used film and not digital." Her mother was going the entire time.
Must have been great photos 9/21/2009 6:54:31 PM |
