reading over the article a few times a few things stick out in my mind

#1) Fowler is obviously fucking up the coaching search for women's basketball.
#2) Reading his comments carefully, I think there is still room for a shake up in the future.
#3) Why'd they combine this story with the search he is doing? It's like he didn't want to directly say that the rumors aren't true.

Who knows, maybe I'm reading too much into it in search of some glimmer of hope.

thats well known and documented, just because he didnt stick to basketball doesnt mean he wouldnt have gone in the draft.

Old herb wasted two good nba first rounders this year and easily his most talented player ever recruited. If you have the #2 or #3 player in the draft on your roster, you have to do better than a second round exit. Just another page in his book of making bad players good and making great players good.

Why not? Nobody cares about womens basketball. Just give one of the assistants the job temporarily and if you need to hire a new coach next year.
