I am not calling you a snotty nosed bully, Fermy. That is a movie quote. Hehe...I figured you would not know it bc it is a very little girl movie.

I am ok, EMCE. I was depressed for two days but I am good now. I am proactive.

OMG!!! YOU HAVE MY HEART, JEN!!! I LOVE THIS KIND OF THING!! I have to look at it for a bit before I can figure things out. Wow...Lot and his daughters, what a crazy story.
I think it is weird there is a dog in the picture just because those usually represent fidelity. hmmm...I will get back acha.

Sodom and Gomorrah I know are in the background burning and they are in the mountain. His wife turned to a pillar of salt so that is her in the background near the burning cities.
So the daughters convinced Lot they were the only women left in the world and that they needed to have sex to procreate. Well, the other people in the background def is a way of Goltzius' showing how naive or deceitful they were. They had to get him drunk to have sex so that is what he is drinking out of the bowl, of course.
The fox represents deceit bc they are known as sneaky deceitful characters. I am guessing the dog is showing Lot's fidelity to the will of God, to procreate. I am not too sure about that honestly. That is my guess.
Fruit usually represents fertility so the girls did get pregnant by their father.
1616 is the year he painted that painting.
This is a stretch, but the blue color of the fabric usually represents Mary, mother of Jesus so I am wondering bc they are in the lineage of Christ, if that is why that is present in this painting.

The way the women's hair is kind of loose might represent how loose they are. I know women who had free flowing hair during this genre were often portrayed as being loose moraled women. That might be a stretch as well. Anyway...I will keep looking and trying to figure this out.

I watch quite a few I would think. I am not really sure, Taruny. I love movies for sure.

My favorite movie is a tie between Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and Good Will Hunting. Eternal Sunshine is just different to me and the Clementine character reminds me of myself. Second chances are always needed and I like how it portrays memory can never really be erased. Good Will Hunting is one of the best movies ever bc of the dialogue and relationships.

hahaha....it is not pathetic, Jen.

Fermat- I majored in Art history in college. I wish I could be teaching it to high school students but alas, art history def is the non-vocation major. I went to grad school for Art Administration and did not finish. I did not like the program. I am at the moment at a loss for what I should be doing career wise. I am quite frustrated to be honest.

yep. I get kind of cabin feverish sometimes. I am not meant to stay home but I look at the time I have with Maya as pretty amazing. I am grateful I can. I have been constantly looking for a job. I am very frustrated with the hunt.

now...anything. I really want to work in a non-profit (museum or performance) or a library (university setting is idealistic) as an assistant. Those jobs are on freeze. I am looking into getting a certificate to teach so I am looking for teaching assistant jobs to hopefully get experience. I also have applied for many government jobs, administrative assistant jobs, manager jobs, jobs from Wal-Mart to the USO. NOTHING. I have adequate experience but I have only really worked in non-profits as an intern. I don't want to do retail...I have done that for 10 years and have had enough.

Awesome. If you lived here I could probably get you into a non-profit. One is majorly into revitalizing the town and keeping it's history, like they get a TON of money and are doing all sorts of events. The event coordinator is good friends with me and I know she's bringing in 6figs. Also, I do some volunteer work at the local theatre which is also a non-profit, I don't know if they are hiring but it'd be a good connection.

Of course that means you have to move.

I do when Ken gets home, for the most part, I have Maya on the brain. Whatever she needs and also whatever my family needs.

^WOW! I wish that kind of opportunity was here in Charlotte. I am glad to hear that non-profit has enough money coming in. That is huge, especially during these times. So many are going bankrupt.

Yeah, I am honestly amazed to hear they are doing so well but it's a tiny town and we haven't really been hit with the economy like outside of this bubble. I'm not saying we are immune but they are CONSTANTLY doing things for this town and only way they can do that is with a good flow of money. They have the local government backing them up hardcore too. I've never seen a town with so much pride in it's city, I'll tell you what!

Good luck with your ventures though, I think things are turning around....slowly...

Ken actually downloaded this book from the Pirate Bay. Thats for free, my friend. I am not the best person to ask for books bc I like things that a lot of people prob don't like. I do have to say I really like the dude's voice who reads the Harry Potter books. I feel like I don't have to see the movie bc he just adds the voice to my imagination. I LOVE IT! I read a lot of vampire shit too. Also, I like reading history stuff. Guns Germs and Steel and Rise to Globalism are some of my favorite books ever.
