I didn't realize this until I looked at her gallery just now, but I'm pretty sure lucyinthesky and I had the same math class during the Fall 02' semester of my freshman year. I distinctly remember her being pretty cool. It's funny how I can clearly remember little things from a few years ago, and can't even remember little things from a week ago. I guess lots of alcohol usage over the years will do that to you.

ruination is technically an IIPA right? something like 8-9%

yeah it's an iipa.

i've been doing some reading about the dogfishhead 120 iipa

apparently the year to year batch variability is amazingly high, even attenuation differences resulting in like a +/-3% range for abv

the brewing process is quite insane

hell, even the clone recipes have dry hop and dextrose additions every 12 hours for like 14 days
