I get to take a phlebotomy class in school... I guess it's easier than having to call a nurse for certain blood tests needed for genetic counseling

I hate getting poked by needles but I think giving a shot to someone or taking their blood would be pretty sweet

i dont like poking others.

it feels really creepy (although the patient can't feel it but you can)

last day was today.

had my exit interview and she gave me my evaluation.



i got mostly excellent except for 3 (i think) satisfactory/needs improvement...and almost all of those are due to my lack of knowledge (this is my first year )
she was sad to see me go and said i did really, really, really well

however i have to make a 99% or higher to pass this rotation
the grading scale is wonky so i probably did, but its still freaking me out!

ive printed out 5 old tests-my plan. i will do them all today.

however i am hungover and im going to take a nap for an hour or so.


i also plan on squeezing a trip to the gym in there and go for a run.

I worked as a lab technician for a few years after receiving my degrees. I was working on the antibiotic resistance of virulent e.coli but realized that it was not what I wanted to do with my life.
