I had to take it, twice, because I was "placed" in it via SAT 2 test scores and wasn't allowed to drop down to a more appropriate class. Hell, they wouldn't even let me drop it for a semester so I could audit another course first. I hated my SA because of this shit.


I had never taken pre-calc before and was completely lost after day 3.


And the entire semester I was helping people in my dorm that were taking Algebra 2 level courses because they didn't know wtf was going on.

calc didn't get fun for me until DiffEq. I miss DiffEq. I should have kept my book so I could do some equations for fun.

241 is much harder than 141. at least the first 1/3-1/2 is. then there are really easy and really fun parts. (which are the basis of 242, so 242 is pretty easy....) (they should call it calc II A and calc II B rather than calc II 241 and calc III 242 (only a upgrade of 1!)) bleh

lol if you had trouble with MA141, then youre completely fucked in MA241. I wish i had gone into it expecting it to be hard then it woulda been less of a slap to the face.

MA242 is a lot easier than 241, especially if kheyfets is still teaching it.
