ok so i went to cloos for the first time in 4 years yesterday after learning that they now accept credit cards. They dont' have a visa sign on their window or anything so unless you actually go in and ask you'd never know.


and since everyone said the food takes so long i decided to time my order. When i went in there was a line we waited more than 5 minutes just to get our order taken. Once I placed my order, it took exactly 20minutes to get 2 sliders and an order of fries. Tack on the wait in line to place my order and yea, its closer to 30minutes to get food.


The food was pretty awesome though so i'll def. give them that. Even the fries were awesome.


Here's some things they can do in the future to help cut time down and improve the restaurant


1.) When there's a line, instead of having everyone wait till they get to the register to take the order, have the mustache guy just start asking people what they want. There's menus right there so they can browse and he can throw the orders on while they wait. It'll save a minimum of 5minutes, guaranteed and it won't cost them anything


2.) There's only one girl serving food. It's a small restaurant I get it, but I never once got offered on a refill although I saw other tables getting refills. That tells me that they are understaffed. Also, Mustache guy is the only dude cooking and he was def. taking his time with everything. Idk if he's the owner/manager or whatever but they either need to get a second guy on the food or he needs to get his shit together and start getting orders out faster.

So, to recap.... The manager of Ruckus got on TWW and posted some very negative personal stories about the manager of Cloo's (a direct competitor to Ruckus, and right next door). He as much as tacitly admitted that his goal was to spark a boycott, as he continued to expand on the story while people posted commitments to boycott Cloo's.

This continued unabated until I, batman, decided to fight for truth and justice and called him out for what he was doing. At that point, he immediately became even more hostile and increased the level of vitriol against Cloo's.

Ultimately, the manager of Cloo's found out about the drama and suddenly WillemJoel's thread mysteriously disappeared. It appears that WillemJoel was happy to talk shit about his competitors behind their back, but once things started heating up, he was nothing more than a big-mouth chickenshit.

I don't really think its fair that he got 5+ days of talking shit about an innocent business only to get his record expunged. Hence, this thread.

P.S. Jackpot was one of the best bars in raleigh
