The Cowherd thread is too old, so thought I'd post this gem here

Why should Lamar Odom be in the NBA HOF? Simply because Biggio is in the MLB HOF

Since when did Craig Biggio make the HOF?

Also watching Paul last night makes me realize what a scum bag that guy is. The media slobs on his dick praising him like he is a saint and dude is taking little cheap shots all over the court, pushing off, running his mouth. Hate that little fucker. Hope Kobe lights him up in Game 5.

Kobe staring daggers at Gasol for dropping that pass is either going to be used by his fans to show what a competitor he is or by his critics to show what a prick he is. No middle ground.

Quote :
"NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Authorities say Los Angeles Lakers forward Derrick Caracter was arrested in New Orleans, accused of public drunkenness and shoving a pregnant cashier at a pancake restaurant.

Police said the 22-year-old player was arrested early Sunday and booked into jail on charges of battery, public drunkenness and resisting arrest. They say Caracter allegedly grabbed and shoved the cashier at an International House of Pancakes after he was refused service and became belligerent. The woman wasn't injured.

Authorities say Caracter was freed later Sunday morning on $1,000 bond weren't immediately returned. It wasn't clear if Caracter had a lawyer, and a call by The Associated Press to the Lakers' organization wasn't immediately returned.

Caracter didn't play in Sunday night's playoff game against the Hornets."

spurs should prob just dump jefferson and then try to add some younger talent, tim and manu will still be pretty good players even as they get older and TP is still somewhat young and usually one of the best pgs in the league; not sure what happened to him this series though

damn popp must be pissed to totally give up on his starters

One thing I did was severely downplay the spurs regular season. People were talking like they were a contender when i knew damn well they were the only team trying in the season. I didn't expect this in a million years though.

never been a JR Smith fan. makes sense that he would have gone to UNC. though saying that, I do like Lawson.

Thunder/Grizzlies matchup in the West would be fun to watch

Granger had to be restrained from going after Bulls center Joakim Noah as the teams exchanged handshakes on the court at the end of the Bulls' series-ending 116-89 win. Granger accused Noah of playing dirty throughout the game, taking cheap shots at Pacers, including forward Josh McRoberts, who was ejected in the third quarter. Granger was in the hallway outside the locker room using expletives to describe Noah's play. "Everybody saw what Josh did and he got ejected," Granger said. "Nobody caught what happened first. It's always the second man. [Noah] was playing dirty the whole game. My teammates got caught with it and nothing happened."

Granger was horrible in the series, he's taking his inadequacies as a player out on great players like Noah, yawn.

It sure was satisfying to see Hansbrough get exposed as nearly the worst rotation player in the entire playoffs hahaha. He couldn't have flopped any harder.

Heat in 6. Bulls will beat the heat. Celtics won't be able to score on Miami.

The Knicks were better. I recall them being up in Boston before the injuries. Its too bad we didn't get to see them play a full game.

In fairness, you did clarify the Knicks With a healthy Amare and Billups were better

Still 0-8 is good proof that Boston > NY this year, NyM410 would probably even agree

I just think experience is what wins a 7 game series and that's why Boston will face the Lakers in the finals

I think the Heat will take this.

I really have no other reason behind this pick other than I think Wade and Lebron are going to step it up big time and Boston losing Perkins takes away their advantage on the inside.

Heat in 6.

I think that the heat will win it in 6.

Oh BTW, I have noticed some particular styles thus far. So, what is with the white dudes sporting the country look (mike miller, andersen), and the black guys rockin' the mohawks (Harden, J.R. Smith)? Did I miss out some fashion trend or something?

Is it Okay to bring back the country look now?
