Those aren't "red flags." Red flags warn you about behavior like what you describe.

We won't even go into the increasingly improbable history of previous marriages to Europeans. You've basically listed everything that a woman can do or be that is bad, and all of this has befallen you, and otherwise average individual. I mean the odds alone seem pretty long on that. Plus I knew a reasonably intelligent guy, maybe not a future Nobel winner but not somebody who would miss out on their baby mama being unable to read.

I don't understand what is so improbable about the marriage to the Euopean. she modeled and lived in Europe during her late teens. I swear that the math and reading awareness did not come untill I was sort of locked into it (and it is not that she is illiterate, she struggles with reading outloud more than the average college educated person would and therefore refuses to do it). She had nowhere else to go and had already moved in with me, my only option would be to break up with her, find a friend to take her in, and then hope for the best.

Ehh. I've seen that done before. Hell, I've seen an extremely bright, successful, otherwise very grounded and stable friend of mine marry a complete trainwreck of a chick after a WEEK of dating...with other women damn near lining up for their chance with him (i.e., not an act of desperation).

(It ended poorly and pretty quickly if anyone is curious, except that little formality of NC's 1-year divorce waiting period...even though they were married in CA).
