so I tracked them down today off Page Rd.

My favorites:
- Gussy's - amazingly good Greek food. wish they had a brick and mortar.
- Porchetta - this shit is worth checking out.
- D'Burritos (nothing crazy special, but a good solid burrito like Chipotle that's close to work and they're really nice)

Good:
- Humble Pig
- Mama Duke's
- Valentinos
- Baton Rouge

Decent:
- Mac Ur Roni
- Barone's Meatballs
- Chick n Que

Not a big fan of:
- CJ's Street Food
- Chai's Global Street Food

My favorites:

Porchetta: I love the Mediterranean: roast pork, garlic aioli, fresh mozzarella. These dudes catered my 30 birthday at Crank Arm, and they were the nicest guys. Everyone loved their stuff.

Dump Pho King Truck: Cheerwine bulkogi sliders w/ kimchi on top? Hell. Yes.

They're ok, but not as good as the Tap Room burgers for example...and Tap Room's aren't that great.

I just got back from the Fidelity Food Truck Rodeo (RTP Park Offices they have every Friday) and I tried Only Burger. I've gotta say this is in my top five burgers of all time. I had a single burger with extra sharp cheddar cheese, bacon, and chili (you could see the green peppers and onions in it) and maybe it was the chili that set it off, but this thing was great. the fries were also very good.

They also had Chirba Chirba, American Meltdown, Mama Duke's, and some other desert trucks.

I'd like to try American Meltdown sometime.

I've had it all and I've eaten there a few times since they park at my work at least every other week. I just think it's all very salty. It's not terrible, but I'm just not a fan of them. I wouldn't drive somewhere else in RTP to find their truck like I would for Gussy's, etc.

I've only been to one BAD food truck and I can't think of the name right now but I got a really shitty Philly that had mold all over the bun. They weren't on our regular schedule so I can't look it up, they must have gotten called in last minute by the truck that was supposed to be there to fill in for them.

I've recently had Bang Bang Banh Mih, Bo's Kitchen and AmigoSan.

All were pretty good. All were a tad pricey.

I ate here today at the RTP food truck rodeo. I thought it was really good. This is pretty much exactly what they taste like at the ballpark at Phillies games but with more meat. I spoke with the owner a bit and he said he imports everything directly from Philadelphia.

I also tried the Phat Wrapz food truck and it was pretty good. I just went with their club so I had a basis of comparison but there were a lot of other wraps that were more imaginative. they specialize in poached chicken, which was on the wrap I had, and it was very good. they don't skimp on the meat.

Ok so I found Esmerelda's Taco Truck today. I got a steak taco, a chicken taco, and a burrito. It came with a drink (Mexican fanta was what I chose), each plate had it's own salsa verde and lime. tacos are $1.50 each.

those tacos are the fucking truth.

seriously, the best I've ever had - including Chubby's, Carrburito, and all of the taco trucks I've eaten at in DC and NYC.

She is on the corner of McCrimmon and Church St.

I think she has a permanent spot. It was in the front yard of a Mexican's house and there's a little dirt "parking lot".

oh yeah, that one's been around forever-- well before food trucks became a hipster/foodie thing.

Hell, I'd argue that Esmerelda's (and really, old school mexican roach coaches in general) are the hipsters of food trucks.

had Phat Wrapz for the second time today - very good. I may have mentioned this but they specialize in poached chicken that ends up shredded (they also have shredded beef wraps). The club I had was very good as was the cordon bleu wrap I had today. These things are stuffed with meat and weigh a pound easily. The home made chips are really good too.

I'd have to have a minimum of 5 very close friends vouch for their food before giving any of my money to a business with the name Phat Wrapz

I just tried Rolling Bistro. Had a Cuban sandwich and some pasta salad - it was pretty good. I'm interested to try more of their stuff next time they come back to my office park.

I'm not actually working. That was a joke. I mean, I'm gonna work while watching games and (unless you wanna eat wings with me) go to bed and that's about it.

But, no, I do not have to go in tomorrow.

And you are getting what you wanted--I recall you saying you wanted to earn extra loot at your job...so working on Saturday to earn your regular/extra loot, I imagine, is what you were aiming for. Correct?

Oh, topic change.

Speaking of masturbation, I haven't jerked it in way too long. If my prostate doesn't explode, I'm probably going to kill the next person I bang with rocket powered ejaculate. Would that be considered manslaughter since I knowingly harbored such a weapon?

Gussy's Greek is on Kit Creed Rd. today. I cannot recommend this place highly enough if you've never had it. They're also now giving the option of getting Greek fries (oregano, lemon, etc.) on your gyro instead of lettuce. Add feta to that thing and it's the best in town.

Tried Bam Pow Chow today. They specialize in different types of tacos that are in like a crispy won ton shell. It was good. I had the pulled pork, shrimp cevice, and braised beef. they also have "cronuts", which is like a donut croissant hybrid with fruit topping.

^Friday June 19th they'll be at Keystone Technology Park off of Davis Dr.

They were supposed to come a few weeks ago but had some food permit issues and canceled. Cannot wait.

Tried Chirba Chirba at the Food Truck Rodeo a couple of weeks ago - it was pretty good. I liked the Chinese sausage appetizer or whatever the best.

Tried American Meltdown and was very disappointed but I probably had way too high expectations going into it.
