I am going as a beekeeper, which is kinda a cop-out since i actually am a beekeeper and already have all the gear. But my girlfriend and my dog will be dressed up as honeybees

No, I just like to be around a lot of people on a social holiday and not the people that I see every damn week. Thats so lame. Its similar to going to Rome and going to the movies to watch Transformers 3 instead of taking advantage of the unique (as compared to the rest of the year) opportunity to do something that you can just do any old time.

couldn't you do both? no need to spend 12 hours at a bar... the last 2 years I went a house party for several hours and then to the bars after. Both are a lot of fun, and I inevitably meet new people at the house parties too. The only way I could see you not meeting someone new at a house party is if your group of friends is super cliquey/clingy and don't have other friends, or if you yourself threw the party

meh, maybe, but house parties usually dont get going until later anyways and then it would be time to leave... and it would suck that whatever friend is having the party couldnt come out unless they shut down their own party, which would suck. And I dont care how badass the party is, you arent going to literally have over a 1,000 new people there. This is why you never ever have house parties the Saturday of Halloween. Friday is perfect for them

We have spirit halloween shops in raleigh for whoever it was that was asking... they are in dfferet shops every year. Great deals the day after halloween if you wanna get something for next year too
