Sorry guys, this is on me. Was watching the Chargers game earlier, they go down 45-24. Turn off the game and they get a TD, onside kick recovery, TD, and are finally driving down the field to tie the game up.

Game automatically comes back on the TV.

Philip Rivers has NEVER had a 3 4 interception game.

I'm going to be a little positive in this one and say that he's really not playing THAT bad. He's just making so many friggin mistakes. These interceptions are absolutely ridiculous.

Now I know why I responded...just watched video of the first "tipped" interception. Guess what? It was a shitty pass by Rivers...behind the WR. So all three interceptions were bad throws by Philip.

Also I still don't know how you are a fan of Rivers. I've literally never seen you make a positive comment about him unless you were defending your negativity by saying he was good in some past game.

^ I'm a pretty negative poster in general. You'll see my comments are similar when talking about most NC State athletics. But I'm also realistic and will point out when we (or someone playing for us) are playing well.

Extremely biased fans/homers/fanboys/rose-tinted glasses/unexplained optimism annoys me greatly. Which is what goes on 99.9% of the time with State fans and Philip Rivers. I defend and give him props all the time to non-State fans. But you guys just look dumb with your constant butt-hurt defense of him.

He was a top-5 QB in the league before this year. If this season continues, he might drop out of the top 10 until he plays his way back in.

He's lucky he's in the worst conference in the NFL and still has the opportunity to make the playoffs and redeem himself. But he's got to stop throwing INTs. It's getting quite ridiculous.

Eli Manning threw 25 picks last year. Now, a year later, he is being put in the top 5 tier of quarterbacks. admittedly, i am a phil homer, but don't sleep on the guy.

plenty of time to turn it around in weak division. i put 60% of the blame on him and the other 40 on norv turner's overall lack of ability as an NFL head coach.

The running game has been quite successful this year. I would almost say they should run the ball more but the fact that Norv likes to air it out probably opens up the running game so what do I know. The Chargers seem to be terrible when they have the ball last. I'll never forget when Norv tried to run it down the middle on 4th down with Darren fucking Sproles. I can't really remember a game where Phil won the game at the very end. He is just not good in those situations. Hopefully next year he can turn this stuff around.

I did the same shit. I clicked the TV off after Greenbay went up 45-21. After catching wind they were rallying back I turned on the TV just in time to see GB punt, the chargers make a decent run for it, then Philip throw the game away.
