Really pleased with that game... might be the first time I have ever couch reffed and the reffs agreed with them all.

Agree with Gonzo, Staal has got to get better on the draw.

I'd be shocked to see Staal traded. ever. But what he needs is some goddamned linemates that aren't named Chad Larose. While he doesn't have the flashy Ovechkin type drive, he's a hell of a player, but even Ovi couldn't make Chad a viable first liner.

the only way staal would ever be traded is if we somehow spent up to the cap and then his 8 million dollar salary might mean something. but as we can barely get over the floor, it's a non-issue.
