It's amazing to me that Emma is suddenly an expert swordsman and can take on Captain Hook, a lifelong pirate, no problem. Shit like that always pisses me off.

I stopped watching and did a marathon a few weeks ago, and watched the previous two episodes back to back. It's still cheesy as hell, but coming together well with the recent two. I think as long as they keep it up and stop doing filler episodes with back stories of random characters this season will end well.

My wife asked me to start watching this show with her on Netflix and we finished season 1 last night. The writing is so cheesy, I rolled my eyes several times each episode.

Judging by the fact season 1 made it four and a half pages of this thread and then crickets for most of the rest of the series, I'm assuming we should just stop now?

I think it had ups and downs like most shows. I actually liked a few of the storylines but some were pretty awful.

I gave up when most of the cast left the show, so I have no idea how it ends. But if says anything, I saw every episode up until the final season, and honestly didn't miss it and don't care enough to even read up on how it ended.

I watched season 1 on TV and enjoyed it enough. I meant to continue watching, but I did not find the time. Then when I saw that they were using the show to try to peddle whatever the newest Disney crazy was (i.e. the giant Frozen blitz they did), I decided that I just wasn't going to pick it back up at all.
