The Sugar Bowl, in New Orleans, in Louisiana is about as home as LSU could possibly get. I don't know how many other bowl games are being played within 80 miles of Baton Rouge.

If Bama wins, they'll finish with 12, the same number of wins as 2007's National Champion (LSU)

I'm assuming the college football season hasn't increased recently, so Bama is sitting at one less game played period than LSU or any other season right now due to Chamoionship games. Bama has played 12 games, LSU 13. On top of that, Bama would win the title game with a 12-1 record, whereas LSU ends the season 13-1

What a fucking lame-ass bowl! I could give two shits about it being in state and convenient to go to! The bowl system needs some serious revamping. I'm sure the players are all like, "hey guys, we get to get on a bus and drive to our bowl. I didn't want to fly to a city out of state and spend some time there hanging out!!!"

The players will still get to spend a lot of time in Charlotte. They will probably get to enjoy the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Lowe's Motor Speedway and other exciting things.


LSU is playing for the national title in their state. I doubt they are complaining about it.

WPC couldn't guarantee where they're seats were...and honestly you have to be really high in the WPC to get a non upper deck seat...i went ahead and bought w/out WPC lottery
