I really hate it when people say that. And too many people say it after winning some personal battle. You lost weight? Got a degree? Finally asked a girl out? Congratulations, but don't minimize and trivialize others' struggles.

In this context, the only way you can say that is if in the whole world you are the one who loves food the most, AND also has the least self-control when it comes to food. But those things are not quantifiable, and even if they were, no one has such data on 7+ billion people.

You can't know a person's struggles until you walk in their shoes, which you know, is impossible to do, unless you can be reborn as that person with their embryonic environment, body, brain, and upbringing.

I would say it is even bigoted to say that. Why, why do you think that if you can do it, anybody can? There is absolutely no reason nor scientific basis to make such claims. You are you, person X is person X. As I said, you can't know someone else's mental state, it is impossible -- every human is unique. We are made up of tens of thousands of variables, with each variable having an infinite number of possible values (for example, level of hormones, neurotransmitters, enzymes, amount of junk food you were exposed to as a fetus, etc). Concerning that last point about the environment inside the womb, read my two posts on page 2:
