it "floats" in a range dictated by the government, not above and not below... but I agree there's no reason to do all the china bashing.

Obama killed in time of possession.

He also got great field position and more takeaways.

Romney had a couple of big plays, but couldn't get his running game going.

I like the Xbox live coverage of the debate. No split screen, no crazy graphics, no commentary. Just some quiet live polls that ask questions of watchers and give live reactions.

Romney actually has a pretty good point, correlating violent tendencies with single mothers. Children are best raised by two parents. A single parent is going to have to devote more time to working, which means less time to devote to actually raising the child. The single parent will be more stressed, and thus more likely to physically abuse their children. The child is more likely to spend extra time in daycare/after school care, increasingly the chances of bullying or abuse by teachers/caretakers.

The point isn't that single mothers are shitty parents, it's that their job would be a lot easier if there was another parent in the picture. Neglected and abused children are more likely to become violent.

Obama also seemed to win the special teams battle.

The refs played the game tighter than usual.

Supporting programs to help these types of people is a solution, that Romney would likely be against.

Wasn't able to see it but I see the only ones on twitter who think Romney won are the delusionals. The moderates and lefties who said clear Romney win last time seem to think Obama..

Thoughts?

* intrade odds gave Obama a bigger bump than Romney got after debate one. I assume that is due to fewer days to election, economic factors AND debate though

No, the solution involves determining why single parent households have been on the rise for the last few decades. There's a strong association with the war on drugs and single parent households, as an example. Perhaps it's because breadwinners in poor communities are forced into the drug trade?

Romney had a few good jabs at the beginning and got a second wind at the end. Obama was scoring points in most round but never landed a knockout blow.

Obama on points, not really close but not a blowout. Just an ok win. It'll stop the bleeding and get a few folks.back but not much more.

He needs to do it again in the next debate to knock Romney out.

Obama won by a little bit, but Romney has had two good solid debates now.

Obama didnt win by the same margin Romney won the first one, not by a long shot.

You could say theyve each won one now, but this wasnt enough to slow Romney momentum.

Another one next week?

If it counts for anything I would say Obama looked more visibly angry.

Yeah but I never heard a direct answer regarding the Benghazi attack. I feel like Obama pussyfooted around that question.

I still am undecided. Actually, I whole rather pick neither.

Here's a link on the Rose Garden speech regarding Libya:

Quote :
"No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done."

The Syria question still wasn't a knockout for Obama, but it was close.

That aside, it was easily the most classically "Presidential" feeling moment I've seen in a long long time, possibly ever in my lifetime.

Obama never referred to the attack as an act of terror. He was speaking in generalities when he was talking about the attack.

That is a stretch, but still. "Acts of terror will never be....."

Then he turns around an apologizes for the video.
