Who said I like baseball??

I only like sports that are dominated by African American athletes you hypocritical twat. Continue to support the "sport" that has the most fans that own Confederate flags.

thanks for making my point.

Anyways....Kentucky this week. Place is bumpier than shit. Austin Dillon gets to bounce around on that track basically 5 days after taking his ride at Daytona. Should be fun.

Huh? I'm sorry I don't choose to spend money to see grown men in tights hug each other. Let me guess you are the nerdy kid that was never good enough to be on a team so you now devote your adult life to being a professional fan.

^I'm ready to see the failure of the new rule package. "We took away downforce, and its even worse."

So if the Cowboys play a game on Monday Night Football on ESPN, you neither pay for ESPN nor watch the grown men in tights hug each other?

You listen here, go make me some ribs or else

^NASCAR gave the one driver caught saying the N-word (we n rigged it) a indefinite suspension. I wish I could say the same about the NFL and how they handle thugs knocking women out. I mean you are the fan of a sport were an active serial killer was a star....

^^Are you dense, when I say pay I mean go to an event. I have ESPN because it comes in my package, I do not pay extra to have NFL sunday ticket like you lames.

You mean like Greg Hardy, who your Dallas Cowboys signed?

I bet you'll be cheering him on in Week 12 when his suspension ends and he's in tights hugging other guys.

Charges were dropped, no I mean like Ray Lewis who stabbed 2 men to death and is a hero.

No I won't be cheering him on, I'll still be drunk celebrating Jr's championship

Ray Lewis didn't stab anyone. He snitched on his friends who did stab someone. Thought you were talking about Aaron Hernandez. You are a moron.

Except the NFL implemented the salary cap to stop him from buying all the good "slaves" and over paying them.

they cut the truck race a few laps short due to catch fence damage, but there wasn't even anyone sitting close to that section of stands.

Yea, that was the PC thing to do. Do trucks have more or less downforce that cup cars? I was thinking about this while watching the race and couldn't find a answer anywhere.

Time to play count the rebel flags. During the truck race they were cutting away every time they showed one, especially when that truck hit the fence and the best camera angle had 2 of them flying.

I'm pretty sure I'll be saying the same thing about Jeff Gordon next year. His voice annoys the piss out of me.

^^ It's always bad, but this is bad to a new level. For example under green they went to commercial with no non-stop. Under caution we get non-stop like anyone cares about seeing them cruise around.... Pretty much everyone on their crew sucks with the microphone.

that was the best KY race ever other than little douche winning

I'm sure the carefully spaced cautions and NBC's crews never ending sells job had nothing to do with the impression of it being a good race.

"3 WIDE!!!"

"3 WIDE!!!!"

Yes NBC, we see that on a double file restart someone has went 3 wide!! I'd rather hear boogity boogity boogity all race personally.

Just play the MRN broadcast audio and every once in a while pan to someone at the cutaway car demonstrating what "tires" are.

A lot of people watch races that way if they can - TV on mute and sync the video to the radio coverage.

^not so sure about that. Straights at indy are so long I think we could a lot more passing if guys can get a good run off draft of car ahead

only if they have the hp and gearing to be 10mph faster a few hundred feet before entry. They are shifting the aero balance rearward on cars that are already front grip limited and prone to aero push. Now the big hole will further reduce front df for the following cars. It's gonna be a shitshow with the top teams figuring something out and the other 32 cars being way off the pace.

^Yeah I noticed that too. For some reason people aren't interested in sitting in the stands for 5 hours and watching racing anymore. Then again, I don't know why anyone would watch a race at Indy in person. The stands block your view and you can only see about a 4th of the track.

Been to 10 Indy 500s and the inaugural Brickyard 400 back in '94. If you sit at the entrances to 1 and 3, exits of 2 and 4, you can see half the track. Turn 1 sells out real quick, so I have always sat at the entrance to 3. I love those seats and they're what I always recommend to people. They never sell out so you have room to spread out normally, you can see from the exit of 2 to the exit of 4, and there's a jumbo screen right across from you in the infield to see the rest of the track. Some people I think don't go there because it's disconnected from all the infield stuff unless you're a Snake Pit person.

There's also a lot of people that go to the races at Indy and aren't so much racing fans as they are fans of the event (the 500 gets more of them than the Brickyard). Those are the people that the frontstretch seats cater to, they're more interested in seeing the pre-race, the theater of the event, and seeing the pitstops. (Plus, those seats are covered from the rain and sun.) If you're more interested in seeing wrecks, sit in the short chutes.
