I'd like to know if the other cops were shocked to see the suspect was still in the van when they made the second arrest, or if they knew he wasn't taken back to the station like they supposedly instructed the driver to do when they arrested him.

Should a guy like that fuck up, fly off the handle, or otherwise misbehave on the job resulting in the death or injury of a citizen... presumably the state of Maryland (or maybe it is the city of Baltimore) could get the trousers sued off of them, correct? if the three white cops get acquitted because the charges were overreaching but the black cops get arrested, Baltimore will implode. not exactly. A spring loaded knife will open by pressing a button. They also make spring-assisted knives, which after you manually open the blade a portion of the way will finish opening themselves up under the tension of a spring. They can look almost identical in build, with the exception of the switchblade having a button somewhere on the knife.

That's almost certainly what will happen without continued public pressure and outside attention. Sadly even rioting in Baltimore probably won't be enough to get these people brought to trial.
