Only 35 and change in my league.

It's OK, I'm still gonna win (unless Gates has a gigantic second half against Denver).

Winston had a knee injury, not a shoulder injury.

If Glennon has to start a game, will be our 4th alum starting a game this season.

Some thoughts about the Rams based on yesterday's game experience:

- Memorial Coliseum is the shittiest venue I have ever visited. Thank goodness the Rams get a new home next year. I was sitting on old wooden bleachers that clearly had not been cleaned up after the previous day's USC game. Very uncomfortable.

- The home fans had zero energy and gave zero craps except to boo Keenum anytime he missed a 3rd-down throw. They were chanting "we want Goff" late in the 2nd quarter, even though Keenum was actually putting together a decent drive at the time.

- It's hard to tell who the real fans are. A lot of that is owed to the team being gone for so long, and I'm sure plenty of them continued to be fans while they were in St Louis (saw a lot of Kurt Warner jerseys), but given the size of the crowd, very few fans seemed to actually be into the game. Made me wonder why they paid so much money to sit in the sun and not care.

- Tons of Panther fans! I'm sure it's like that for every team visiting LA this year but it was great to see that kind of support for the team.

- About once each quarter the jumbotron had late 80's/early 90's style graphics and videos, and I liked that. A throwback to when the Rams last played there. Otherwise, nothing they put on the screen or did on the field had any entertainment value.

- Several rappers and athletes were in attendance. And they each got a shutout. Kareem Abdul Jabbar was cool, all the others were lame.

- Moved all the way down to the 3rd row on the 35 yard line for the 4th quarter. The stadium staff stopped checking tickets after halftime and it was easy to just sit wherever.

There were some "Tebow" chants as well, despite him not being an active NFL player

I think it's fair to ask for Goff. I mean there have been 5 other rookie QBs to start games this year Goff hasn't even seen the field despite being the top pick.

its probably more to do with goff and his agent not letting him start

I wasn't sure when the new stadium was opening. The sooner the better.

I didn't hear the Tebow chants, that might have been confined to a smaller section of the crowd. The boos and "we want Goff" was stadium-wide.

The Rams haven't made the playoffs since 2004. They can wait one more season. There's no reason to rush Goff in when none of the receivers are worth a damn and the only reliable players are the RB and the punter.

NFL really earning the "no fun league" moniker this year. On pace to obliterate the ejections record this year almost entirely because of the new unsportsmanlike conduct rule.

The Kelce ejection yesterday was pretty stupid. Kelce was dumb for using his towel to flag the refs, but he had every reason to be pissed. They absolutely blew a PI call in the end zone. Seems like the officials have been really awful this year and way, way too flag happy.

Kelces ejection was well deserved. If you watch the whole sequence. Play ends. Kelce gets up screaming at the Back Judge, official gives him plenty of space to blowup. Kelce turns to the official in the corner of the end zone and starts laying into him as well. That official gives him some time. Then Kelce turns away, says something that must have warranted the flag and only then does he get the first UNS. Then the throwing of the towel is an obvious second UNS.

I'm not excusing Kelce BTW, I'm a chiefs fan and a fantasy owner and I was pissssed at him. But I get why he was upset.

The refs have been trash all season long. Missed hits on Cam, horrible calls on catch vs no catch, too many flags overall, and now this latest debacle in Seattle. It's a bad look for the league.

If this was the NBA, I would assume the shitshow at officiating tonight was purely due to the league rigging games. Since it's the NFL, I'm about 50/50 between rigging games and gross incompetence.

"Just like the electorate at large, there’s apathy in NFL locker rooms too. Of the 16 players polled in the Lions and Vikings locker rooms, eight said they had no intention of voting. Eric Ebron, who tweeted during the debates his intention to move to Canada in the event of a Trump win, has since changed his tune. “It’s just not what I’m interested in,” Ebron said. “I don’t want to have any say, if it goes good or bad. I feel like maybe those of us who didn’t vote will have less blame if it works out terribly. We’ll have an out.”"

Quote :
"Rams fired coach Jeff Fisher.
In a cruel, ironic twist for the NFL's pre-eminent loser, the firing comes three days before he was set to pass Dan Reeves for the most coaching losses in league history. Fisher is so inept he can't even claim the record that's been his destiny for over a decade. The firing is perhaps the most justified of the modern era. Fisher has had five years to turn around a laughingstock franchise, but instead made it an even bigger joke. Fisher's team had truly made zero progress on his first year in 2012. A wanton waster of draft picks and capital, Fisher is clueless on Sundays, fundamentally misunderstanding offense and overseeing a cavalcade of idiotic penalties. Fisher doesn't make adjustments, aside from usually dialing up more personal fouls in the second half. Try as he may, he never came close to "cleaning up" his chronic, myriad, inexcusable mistakes. No coach, in any sport anywhere in the world, makes more excuses. Fisher has almost certainly coached his final NFL game. "
