i had 3 beers in the fridge at 2:30pm. i sent my husband for beer and mozzarella cheese (for the baked ziti) at 2:45pm.

it is now 5:17pm. i have finished all 3 beers, and my husband still isn't home.

^i dont do grain mashing. quasi partial mash/extract brewing until i move into a place where i can use a propane source.

i havent had a problem yet with doing steeping -> boil

ok. it doesn't expire until nov 15 but it has been open for a week

BUT it looks fine and doesn't smell funky soooo i'm going to make ziti (inspired by thumper) with sauce and melted mozz cheese

(not baked, this is like a lazy person's baked ziti haha)

i got the Ragu Vegetable Primavera sauce. which is spaghetti sauce - with chunks of carrots, zucchini, onion, and tomato in it.

now hubby is turning up his nose cuz he don't want no carrots and zucchini in his ziti

and it's not even baked ziti. it's baked whole wheat penne!

^dude, who cares if the cheese has been open for a week? it's got a ziploc don't it????
