I need a 30+" tall crate for this new dog, so I have an ad up on CL. Lady emails me saying 'yeah, we got one!'. I ask for the LxW dimensions so I have some idea of how much of a bitch it'll be to put in my car. She replies it's 36" tall and 24"x 24"

...for a dog crate.

I've never seen a dog crate that tall in relation to its footprint. Correct to assume she's wrong, or do they really make dog crates of those proportions? She says she got it from petsmart, btw. The largest one they have listed on their site is 40longx38widex33tall.

I'd just go measure it if she weren't 30 minutes from me and I didn't have someone coming over.

I have never seen one that was taller than it was wide, or shaped like a square. I would be afraid of it tipping over if the dog got excited.
