MW2 is playing very smoothly and is pretty fun. I find its harder to have a sneaky play style, but seems like the maps are smaller and have more choke points. Guess I'm just a MW2 noob

But seriously, Black Ops TDM fucking blows if you're not with a party. Usually the only time I play is when I'm with with TWWers, but I played a few solo the other day. Five or six matches and only one ended before time expired. Zzzzzzzzzzz

Couple things

1. Is there a way to block non-friends from sending voice messages? I get at least one "Message to all friends and recent players I'm hosting a blah blah I'm a faggot" message every time I play.

2. I've tried some sniping lately but have come to the conclusion that it's useless, seeing as that dude all the way across Array can just pick me off with his famas before I can even get off a shot.

can't you just go to your dash settings and block communication to only friends? i know you can do that with voice chat at least

speaking of, and i mentioned it before but no one commented on it, i've got voice blocked to only friends, yet every 10th game or so i'll hear random people talking in the lobby. is there a reason that would be happening? and no i'm not friends with them

Yeah you can restrict communication to friends only. Also if you hear people in the lobby is it when they join or you first join? I've notice that some games it takes a second or two for the network to catch up when someone first joins. I can hear them talk and then it'll stop. I notice it more while in game and someone joins the other team than I do in the lobby.

i think it's just when i join, but it's just so sporadic when it happens. it does block them during the actual game i think, but i always manually mute them in the lobby because i don't really care about hearing teenagers discussing porn and video games

I always get voice messages from "friends" aka people I added years ago when I first started playing 360. Most of them are bullshit like "Hey just wanna let everyone know I changed my screenname from XXXSN!PERXXX to XXXSN!IPER1XX"

^^I've had times when I've tried to mute some idiot in game, and it just skips over the name. I guess it's just a XBL/COD glitch. This has happened to me on BO, MW2 and COD4.

Probably more than 50% of my matches are joined in progress, and usually I'll end up leaving before even spawning in because my team is getting absolutely butt raped.

I decided, though, that in an effort to bring up my W/L, I'll start sticking around for even the most marginal matches in hopes of pulling out a win.

So, today during lunch I joined a domination game on Kowloon, team was down like 120-40, triple capped, and everyone on my team was negative. Started the game on an 18 streak, capping shit left and right and ended up winning by 40+. Ended the game with the highest score, 7 or 8 caps, like 36-5. No doubt the most fun I've had in Black Ops. I was in the zone, bro.
