Ticket price is ridiculous for Mumford & Sons.

God, if you went to see Mumford and Sons this time last year the highest prices would have been 30 bucks.

I really wish I got a chance to see them before they started selling tickets a U2 prices.

Definitely too rich for my taste. I'd much sooner drop 90 bucks on Hopscotch than on a single ticket for Mumford and Sons at the Raleigh Amp of all places.

oh wow. didn't expect them to be that high. I can't stand that band so no loss for me.

I guess the guy on my facebook that wrote "just dropped $400 on Mumford & Sons tickets!" wasn't lying

Either way 40 / 47 is a rip - Fuck Live nation

[Edited on April 7, 2011 at 5:09 PM. Reason : which is on the high end of what i usually pay for tickets, but i'd rather see than not.]

Anybody ever picked up tickets for the Ampitheater at the box office? Just curious if they hit you with the damn convenience fees like they do on Ticketmaster/Live Nation. My wife wants to go to Mumford, and I can stomach $30/piece, but not this $45 after fees and shit.

Hah I don't even mind mumford but I managed to convince the gf (big fan) to save her money and put it towards a Hopscotch bracelet. I still can't believe so many people were willing to pay the ticket price either.

May still catch the show from the parking deck or something though

^^There's a band I didn't think I'd get to see live.

Even though I'd seen Guided By Voices before, I was slightly more excited when I saw Cat's Cradle announce that GBV was coming last fall. Still,

I considered coming up for the show in January. Jon Wurster had dropped some hints on Twitter, but since I live around Charlotte and I wasn't completely sure that's what he was getting at, I decided against it. I regret it slightly less now.
