i know what you mean. i've found though that it's not the work you're doing, but the lawyer you're working for that can either make you feel like you're their bitch or you're actually working towards something together. i worked for someone where i felt like you...but now i'm in a better situation and i don't feel that way anymore.

Ohh no no, didn't mean it in a bad way I guess it did come off as if I was bitter, it was more of a joking thing though.. The boss I have now is really the best one I've had to work under and we get along great. I just meant it as I just help her out with whatever she needs, whether it be briefs, bros, or just calling someone for her.

Now, my last job, I was definitely that guy's "bitch," and I quit with no notice due to him being such a dick.
