1) I, too, lost Frank Gore last week...I got Chris Ivory/Anthony Dixon on waivers...is it worth starting Chris Ivory in my flex spot over one of my receivers below?

2) Help me choose 2-3 starters out of my receiving corps (number depends on whether Ivory gets the flex spot):

1) Colston
2) Reggie Wayne
3) Steve Johnson
4) Wes Welker
5) Percy Harvin

I would start Colston, Wayne, and Welker this week. But, if Pierre Thomas is out (it sounds like he'll play as of right now), I would sub Thomas in for Welker.

I need to start 1 of these 3 WR's in a non-PPR league:

Wes Welker vs. NYJ
Lance Moore @ Cin
Nate Burleson vs. Chi

^^ 10 or 20 yards for every 1 point rushing?

Vick should go nuts tonight, rushing and throwing, as HOU has the leagues worst secondary.

This week for the Bolts, VJax, Floyd and Gates could all be out.

^^ welker. moore is one of too many options and tenn doesn't know who's QBing this week. he'll be good if it's collins, but i wouldn't trust rusty nail or whoever....

do yall think it would be worth picking up vincent jackson? i'd have to drop kenny britt or steve smith north. i don't think any of them play this week, but i'm trying to figure out who will get healthy first and who would be more helpful in the playoffs

Again, my second RB and WR slots and my flex slot are giving me indecision.

2 WR:
Greg Jennings vs San Fran
Steve Johnson @ Minnesota
Manningham vs Wash
Braylon Edwards @ New England
Davone Bess vs Cleveland

2 RB:
Bradshaw vs Wash
Tolbert vs Oak
Ryan Matthews vs Oak
Toby Gerhart vs Buffalo

Right now I have it set as
WR1 - Jennings
WR2 - Johnson
RB1 - Bradshaw
RB2 - Tolbert
Flex - Manningham (this will likely be Gerhart is AP doesn't play this week)

However, Tolbert has been sat for "precautionary reasons," and Matthews is healthy so both of them have unknown roles at this point. Gerhart proved he can handle the load last week, and if AP is out then I'm considering giving him a look. I can't sit Steve Johnson or Jennings, but I also want to play Manningham. Any advice? I'm torn.

^Given the schedules, I'd say Vincent Jackson is worth picking up under the assumption he'll be able to play soon. Giants have a tough schedule the next few weeks. I haven't heard much from Britt recently either. It is a tough call, and I don't think any move would be horribly ill-advised. I'd go with my gut.

I'd go Fred Jackson. Westbook @ GB is a tough play, plus I imagine they'll want to give Dixon a share of the touches.

Should I trade LeSean McCoy for Darren McFadden? I'd be getting McFadden and he has great matchups for the playoffs, but he and the Raiders' O-line have been dog shit the last two weeks.

Ronny, I am a huge Chargers fan, but I don't think you can feel great about either Tolbert or Mathews this week. It's hard to tell how Norv is gonna play that with Mathews returning. That said, if Tolbert plays, I think he'll get the bulk of the work. His injury is minor from what I've read. And I don't think Gerhart is gonna do much this week because I think AP will start and be fine. I would start Jennings, Steve Johnson, and Manningham (assuming S. Smith and Nicks are out; Redskins D has gotten beat through the air and Manningham is the Giants' best bet for targets this week), and then Ahmad Bradshaw and Tolbert (but sub Gerhart in for Tolbert in the off-chance AP is out).

Yeah, that's a tough call. DMC has a ton of upside, but he has been dogshit recently. McCoy has been solid. It is a tough call. Again, not sure there is a BAD call in this one. Personally, I'd stick with DMC and hope the Raiders get shit together.

Mike Wallace vs. Baltimore or Mike Williams (TB) vs. Atlanta

I have a serious love/hate rela. with Mike Wallace because its so hard to tell when he's gonna go off.

Also...seriously contemplating benching Ray Rice for either Sidney Rice or Ben Obomanu

Yea that's my crazy thought of the week.

But Mike Wallace against the Ravens? Do I go for 2 catches and MAYBE good yardage and a touchdown....or 5/6 catches guaranteed against the Falcons.... This is why I struggle with Wallace in the lineup every week.

Believe me man...I had similar issues with DJax last year, and a couple weeks I benched him and he, of course, still scored long TDs. And he's kept it up since. You gotta start Wallace, even against the Ravens D.

I'm leaning Ochocinco given the matchups...

^ Pisses me off everytime Vick runs one in. Now Owen Schmitt just took another one from Shady. It seems like the Eagles never run the ball. Good thing Shady is such a good pass-catcher.

I'd go with 85. Might be a good idea to ride the hot hand in Branch, though.

Why does the NFL always rule QB-RB exchanges that result in a fumble are the QB's fault??? I'm in a league where you get docked for fumbles and more for fumbles lost.

^It's a case-to-case basis from what I understand. If you watched the game, on that particular play, Vick lost control of the ball. That fumble was definitely all on Vick. I don't even think Shady touched it before he jumped on the loose ball.

Pick 4 (or which one to bench):

LeGarrette Blount
Benjarvis Green-Ellis
Justin Forsett
Mike Thomas
Nate Washington

Also:

Welker or Manningham

Blount, Law Firm, Forsett, and Thomas (although the latter two are pretty shaky).

Manningham over Welker (assuming S. Smith and Nicks are out). Welker over Mike Thomas if you can do that.

EDIT: I shouldn't start Sidney Rice or Percy Harvin over Larry Fitzgerald, should I?

also, you gotta start tamme the way he's been playing. kellen winslow was my tight end earlier this year, so tamme's been a godsend for me since i picked him up on the colts' bye week

^, ^^^I have Percy as well, and I don't think you can trust him this week. From everything I've read, the migraine issues are back in a bad way. He might not even play. I'd start Rice over him, and as far as your other slot, I have a hunch about Randy Moss this week, but if you don't trust him, I'd say Branch is a safe bet to have a decent game. I don't think Obamanu will keep up what he's done the past three weeks and Smith has nobody to throw him the ball. Plus, Branch tends to play fairly well in big games.

I wouldn't play Randy Moss or Steve Smith either. I would lean towards Sidney Rice. Seems like he's due for a breakout game. Keep in mind Branch has got to go up against Revis and the Jets this week.

What about this one:
Eli Manning vs. Redskins
Kyle Orton vs. Chiefs

I wouldn't be afraid to start Woodhead. He's a running back that is eligible to be started at WR. It's like getting an extra RB, and RBs are usually a better bet to score pts than WRs. He's gonna get you somethin'.

^That's a really tough one. I personally would go with Orton. As far as the other guy, I agree he should start Rice, but he needed another starter. I personally would go with Moss because, like I said, I just have a hunch that he's due for a big game, but I definitely understand not wanting to take that risk. If not Moss, though, I'd go with Branch. Revis Island has been much easier to escape from this year. Not only that, but Revis might be matched up against Welker.

^^^I'd go with Tolbert. He gained some momentum last week and Oakland should be weaker on the run than Indy. Felix Jones is too hit or miss

^I'd go with Lynch considering his opponent. expect a high scoring game with lots of goal line ops.

Okay so playoffs are on the line who should I start as RB2:

B. Jackson (GB) vs. SF
C. Ivory (NO) vs. CIN
R. Brown (MIA) vs. CLE

really stuck on this one

Roddy White @ TB
Santana Moss @ NYG
Jacoby Ford @ SD
Malcolm Floyd vs. Oak
Randy Moss vs. Jac
Pierre Garcon vs. Indy

^ I think Floyd has the upside since he torched Oakland last time for 44. If you have a tough opponent and need a big day out of a WR, I'd go Floyd. With that said, I'm conservative with players coming back from injury. Alot of times, they don't put up any points. Garcon is a ball dropping machine, but he's going to catch a few balls and have average or slightly below average fantasy production. He won't completely shit the bed, but there won't be much upside either.

So either S. Moss, R. White and Floyd

or play conservative and go with Garcon instead of Floyd

^^^That is a really tough one. None of them are really encouraging, to tell you the truth. If Pierre Thomas is out again, I'd start Ivory, but if Pierre is back, Ivory is really risky. If Pierre Thomas is back this Sunday, I'd go with Ronnie Brown. He seemed to get back on track a little bit last week.

^^Obviously, you gotta start Roddy. As far as the other two, I'd go with Floyd and Randy Moss, personally. I really think Moss will break out in a big way this Sunday; you can't keep a guy that good down for that long, plus he finally gets a real quarterback (not the best, but Kerry Collins is certainly better than Rusty Smith) to throw to him this week. As far as Floyd, people are low on him from one lackluster game, but I really think that he'll have a big game in a must-win game for the Chargers with Vincent Jackson out. In the off-chance that Reggie Wayne is out this Sunday, though, Garcon sees a huge boost in value and you'd have to start him over Moss.

^Floyd returned from injury last week and had his return clunker. I personally think he's back in a big way this week, though

^That's just some awful advice. Floyd and Randy Moss are squarely on the bench until they prove otherwise. Betting that they will finally "break out" after so many games of zero points is just foolish. Floyd is not healthy. He played 13 snaps against Indy, and didn't practice this week until Friday. Randy Moss has the worst QB in the league throwing passes to him.

Start White, Garcon and either Ford or Santana Moss. Garcon is a no-brainer against that awful Cowboys D, and with Campbell back, Ford will be his primary option down the field.

Im in similar situation and think im going with Ivory as my flex between:
C. Ivory (@Cin)
M. Goodson (@Sea)
H. Ward (@Bal
M. Morris (@Chi)
R. Moss (v.Jac)
M. Thomas (@Ten)

it just doesnt seem like Pierre Thomas will be back this week -and wont be featured or get goal-line work regardless:
Quote :
"Pierre Thomas (ankle, questionable) was limited in Saints practice again on Friday. Coach Sean Payton conceded after the session that he's "guarded" about Thomas' chances of playing in Week 13, but at the same time claims there's a "realistic chance." Saints beat writers aren't so optimistic. In all likelihood, Thomas would probably have to really impress in pre-game to be active against the Bengals.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune's Jeff Duncan is skeptical that Pierre Thomas (ankle) is ready to make his return this week at Cincinnati. New Orleans can beat them without him, and he's not going to be handed the feature back role in his first game back. He'll have to earn it by outplaying Chris Ivory.

"Wouldn't count on him Sunday. My guess is he needs another week," wrote Duncan, responding to a Twitter inquiry on how Thomas has looked in practice. Duncan's skepticism is somewhat surprising in that Thomas and coach Sean Payton had both expressed optimism that he would play this week. Thomas isn't going to be a recommended fantasy starter until his role is defined in a return to game action. "

Have already decided Blair White @Dal is a solid WR2 w/ Austin Collie still Doubtful/Questionable.

^^You go based on what you think they'll do THIS WEEK, not what they've done the past few games. Both Randy Moss and Floyd have decent matchups this week, both will be heavily involved in their respective offenses (Norv himself has said he thinks Floyd will play a "significant" number of snaps), and as such, I think both will deliver with good games.

I asked this before and someone answered Ochocinco... Keep in mind I have Andre Johnson (15.90 already) and Brandon Lloyd is my WR2

Pick one: Branch, Ochocinco or Garcon.

I am leaning strongly towards Garcon with the dismal Cowboys defense but I worry about his chemistry with Peyton.

And this is actually a harder decision than I think it should be, but Steven Jackson has been really pissing me off with his lack of TDs and Bradford throwing 40+ times a game, so...

Pick one: Steven or Fred Jackson
