Posting this from one of my posts on another board:

here is the deal:

Saturday March 21st we play the Capitals at 7pm. Sweden, Vulcan91, myself, and some buds will definitely be out there and out there early. We are planning on cooking some hot dogs and burgers, or anything else that anybody feels like bringing.

I have it confirmed that we will be there as early as 10am to get a head start on things, as this weather is too beautiful to pass up. As most people know, March Madness is nearly upon us and what better way to watch the games than in HD... OUTSIDE!!! Weather forecast looks awesome with a high of 70 degrees and mostly sunny, although it is still a long ways out. If things go foul, I have a 10x10 canopy that will serve us just fine.

Here is the catch.

We want to do a keg very very badly for this event, and with the headcount that we have now, it would be doable... but we want to float the thing. Why don't we all meet up and have a blast... watching the NCAAs, drinking brew, filling our bellies(we always bring light options as well, since I am a fatass and my wife is a vegetarian), and having fun in general.

Who wants in on this? You don't have to get there as early as we do, but you would be more than welcome. We have done things like this before with success, but this would take it to a whole new level.

And ladies, don't be scared that you are walking into a pork-fest. My wife and her sister will be there for sure, along with a couple of others of the female persuasion.

I'd like to give a shoutout to the 60 year old man in front of me who turned around to inform me after we scored our first goal to tell me that Rod Brind'Amour is currently not as fast as Ovechkin, to which I replied, well no shit dumbass, he's old and Ovechkin's fast as fuck. His reply was that Brind'Amour has NEVER been as fast as Ovechkin, to which I replied once more with no shit dumbass. When the Caps scored their first goal, he stood up and flipped me off before he went into cheer mode. His wife managed to take him out of the section before Wes the RBC Center legend went Mike Green Hulk-mode on his ass.

Other observations: We need a new jumbotron, and we need it delivered yesterday.

Another gentleman wanted to fight me after I asked to see their Stanley Cup Championship banner after he pointed out to me that we choked our way out of the playoffs last year.

Two other gentlemen in front of us who had trouble with prolonged unassisted standing on 2 feet who claimed to be from Hartford couldn't decide if they wanted to be our buddies or start shit. It was an inner battle they seemed to be having. One of which had a smartass comment to make after everything I said. I won't write off the entire fanbase, but my experience was not satisfactory.

That Buffalo schedule is pretty brutal. There are only 4 games that you could make a case for being definite wins. Montreal's is pretty much cake and they are already in the best position, so I don't see much chance of them falling out. That's a real touch stretch at the very end for the Rangers.
