^^^^lol, colds and viruses don't work like that... you either have a cold or you have the flu- it doesn't magically morph into a new virus because you go out drinking

now if you might feel worse because you didn't get enough sleep or drank too much booze, that is a justifiable reason for not going (but if that were my reasoning, I would say I was being lame too )
