IT could be a a federal team (FBI or other) to do monitoring for CBRNE/WMD, threats. We don't know that they are private contractors.

Only the one person is wearing that logo, that person could be a former SEAL or maybe he just likes the hat.

There really isn't anything suspicious about monitoring for CBRNE threats.

How will he be found guilty of anything other than alluding the police? They have video of him with a bookbag on. Hardly proof. There is no concrete evidence and he could never be guilty of the murders without a confession which is what they are going for now.

If he's smart and says the older guy threatened his life to not talk, he could get off completely.

You don't make a bomb without a trail to follow. The police have more than enough to get warrants to go through everything they own. There will be a smoking gun, and they'll invest the resources to find that. It's crazy to think otherwise. It would be giving the bombers way more credit than they deserve. If the investigation is done with anywhere near the skill of the manhunt, they'll have what they need.

According to the sources, his wounds were from the previous night's gun fight. I don't see how the boat didn't explode after watching these sets of videos. Honestly, I don't think the FBI was trying to preserve his life... he's just lucky that boats are apparently made of adamantium these days.
