i don't love them right away. but what would you wear them with? i feel like these are a type of shoe that MAYBE MAYBE with the right outfit and the right person could be cute.

but they just aren't my style at all so i have a hard time liking them.

Those don't do it for me at all

I'm also more for classic shoes rather than trendy and I need some new office appropriate flats to wear, my mary janes are nearly dead.

Really??? I LOVE them.

I would rock it with jeans and a t, brown cotton dress like this or a white linen dress,

or i would wear it something like this... whithout the holes in the denim and embellished tank

Has anyone had a problem with moisterizers burning when they go on. Like not acid burning skin, but almost like I'm sunburnt and putting lotion on and it burns. It only burns when I first put it on, and it's only just started doing it, could it be cause my skin is extra dry right now or what?

how many days do you go without shaving your legs?

It depends on the time of year. Usually I'll shave from the knee down once a week during the winter and twice a week over the summer. I shave the rest of my legs about half of that amount (the hair there is almost imperceptible and doesn't get prickly). I have very light hair on my legs, and it doesn't grow very fast.

Every day in the summer if I'm wearing shorts. Every 2 to 3 days if it's pants weather.

those are waaaaaay cute but how in the hell do you wear those for more than an hour? I want to wear heels so bad but I can't walk in them and they hurt my feet and ankles so bad. I have nice legs and they look sooooo awesome with heels.

I have this problem too. ><

Every time I wear heels I have to make sure nobody sees my epic grimaces.

Nina's are some of the most comfortable heels out there though. I can wear mine for hours, and my feet will never hurt. Other shoes, it takes five minutes and I'm ready to take them off.

my mom has been on a kick with that book lately, eating better and exercising is really helping her. The book is a great idea, but it sucks carrying one around to keep track of while eating out and about. I put a list of the fast food items from it in my phone so I ate healthier on a road trip that I went on last month, and it was really handy.

I also think porcha has too, but I doubt he checks this thread

you can probably get away with the same one with changing up the shirt/shoes - probably consider a things though - is it a guy or a girl interviewing you or a mixture (will they even remember)? how long ago was the first interview?

The first one was Friday, the next one will be tomorrow. Only one dude interviewed me Friday, but I'm going before a panel tomorrow that the same dude will be in.

IMO that book is for "beginners" to healthy eating. If you already eat healthy, fresh food then it won't be much help. It's like, wow a Big Mac is 200 calories less than a Whopper! Well if you're even considering eating either of those two foods you have a long way to go.

does anyone know where i can find a navy blue deep v-neck cardigan with 1/2 sleeves? not quite 3/4 length, a little shorter. also, i want the cardigan to be hip length, not super long or baggy

i found what i wanted on jcrew's website but they are out of navy.. i might could settle for the color they have avail but i'd really prefer navy

im also looking for a neutral (prefer brown) flowing skirt, to the knee or slightly shorter

AND a scarf, silk would be nice, with a bright print that can be worn as a short skirt or belt

and for the record.. im not planning on wearing any of this together at the same time-- just looking for these pieces!

^^ i don't really give a shit what people think of me at the gym. usually whatever shirt i'm wearing is long enough to conceal any underwear lines anyway

the gym is for working out. not a fashion show.

Assuming these are straight pins, and not bobby pins, I probably should get some.
Most of the time, I wear my hair twisted in a bun, and secure it with a pen or pencil. It'd look much better with something like this.
